New Games The following games were added: Ant War Aveyond Chessmaster Challenger Inspector Parker Master Of Defense - The Genie - June 7, 2006 The old game category pages really didn't allow users to browse through the games offered on this site very easily; no graphics, not enough description and no links. They didn't scale well with the number of games we eventually want to offer so they've all been redesigned. With the redesign complete, we will be doubling the number of games presently offered. These games will be added during the upcoming week so check back often. - The Genie - April 19, 2006 The only thing difficult about digital photography is backing up your photos after you've dumped about 5 gigs worth of jpeg on your PC. Endless sorting to both find your photos and arrange them so you can fill up a CD takes forever; until now. Photos Forever allows you to back up all of your photos over multiple CDs or DVDs with as few as five mouse clicks. Once the backup starts, you can run other programs and will be prompted to insert blank CDs or DVDs as needed. Don't lose all your memories to a hard drive crash or jpeg eating virus. Photos Forever solves your photo backup problems - FOREVER. The games page has been expanded to include over 50 games. More games will be added with the goal of reaching 150 to 200 games within the next month or two, so check back often. New Programs The following program was added: Photos Forever New Reviews The following review was added: Photos Forever - The Genie - November 14, 2005 We plan on greatly expanding the games section on Shareware Genie. While most will welcome the new additions, it does bring up a problem. The site is already getting to the point where finding things is becoming difficult. With that in mind, we've added a search engine in the upper right corner of all pages. The search engine was created using one of the products offered here, Search Engine Builder Pro. The engine still has to be tweaked and we may add more advanced search functions as well. Going forward, we'll design new pages to be more compatible with the search engine requirements while modifying older pages as needed. Most of the design changes will be transparent to users. Try out the search engine and send us your comments. If you're interested in building your own search engine, the review/tutorial for Search Engine Builder Pro will be posted shortly. - The Genie - November 03, 2005 Is there really a need for yet another FTP program? When does all your work automatically, the answer is definitely "YES". Auto FTP Manager lets you control remote sites by scheduling tasks such as backups or synchronizing files in local and remote sites. I know that there's many "free" FTP programs out there but the "free" versions usually do next to nothing and are only a come on for you to pay an arm and a leg for the "pro" version. Auto FTP Manager has all the features you need with a registration fee that doesn't break the bank. Check out the review and see how Auto FTP Manager can remove all the drudgery from maintaining remote sites. New Reviews The following review was added: Auto FTP Manager - The Genie - July 08, 2005 The popularity of XML has grown tremendously in a short time and leaves one thing clear; if you're dealing with any kind of data transfer, eventually, you'll HAVE to use XML. The Shareware Genie is proud to offer what is arguably the best XML tool available on the market today, <oXygen/>. Combine an XML Editor, an XML Schema Editor, an XSL/XSLT Editor and Debugger, along with more features than you can list and you have <oXygen/>. Experienced XML users will find that <oXygen/> offers all the features they need to make their XML projects easier. Those new to XML will not only find <oXygen/> easy to learn and use but often find that a good editor is a great teaching tool. Check out the <oXygen/> page and see for yourself. You can also find <oXygen/> on the Webmaster's Page New Programs The following program was added: <oXygen/> - The Genie - April 08, 2005 The Shareware Genie is proud to be able to offer the ultimate in HTML/CSS editors. TopStyle lets you harness the power of CSS to make your web site the best it can be. Even if you have an HTML editor, let TopStyle take care of your CSS needs. Third party integration of the CSS editor is available for many well known HTML editors. TopStyle will be added to the Webmaster's Page shortly. New Programs The following program was added: TopStyle - The Genie - April 07, 2005 A few months ago, we said that the best privacy program available got even better with the release of GhostSurf Platinum 2005. Now you can find out why in our updated review. The privacy options were always top notch but now the Spyware and Ad control options have been improved to the same level. GhostSurf Platinum 2005 is like getting five programs in one. The recently released version of Web Vacuum is now available. New filter options make downloading files from the web faster than ever. See the updated Web Vacuum review. - The Genie - March 18, 2005 It takes more than an HTML editor to properly create and maintain a web site. To make finding the proper tools easier, we've created a new category page for webmasters. The Webmaster's Page contains all of the tools you need for a successful web site; code editors, graphic tools, file transfer, documentation and more. - The Genie - March 04, 2005 A popular measure of web page popularity is Google page rank which can me measured with the free Google Tool Bar. The trouble is, you can only check one at a time and there's no quick way to save the data. PageRank Master solves those problems by allowing you to check multiple sites, displaying the results in text or on a graph, and creating reports in various formats. Spend less time checking your page rank and more time improving it with PageRank Master. New Reviews The following program was added: PageRank Master The following review was added: PageRank Master - The Genie - February 17, 2005 Our RSS newsfeed is finally online. To be blunt, our email newsletter was a big flop because no one wants to give their email address away. Frankly, I don't blame you. Too many times I've seen people's email boxes filled with spam shortly after they decided to sign up for the wrong newsletter. We've all been there; just when you thought you've seen your last online pharmacy spam message, another four show up with new and very strange products!! The policy of the Shareware Genie has always been not to share email addresses but everyone says that and you still wind up getting spam. The result is no one believes you and you don't get many email addresses for your newsletter. RSS solves all that. If you're not familiar with RSS, it's a file posted on a web site that a news aggregator reads The idea behind RSS is for webmasters to post an XML or RSS file called a news feed that contains summaries of news items and links to the complete articles. No spam, no strange products, no having to constantly delete garbage. You get the channels you're interested in and NO OTHERS. Feeds cover all sorts of topics such as news, sports, entertainment or in the case of the Shareware Genie, new products, configuration tips and reviews. To access this information, you use a news aggregator to display the available items and the links to the entire article. There's many news aggregators available but you won't find a better one than the subject of a new review: FeedDemon. The FeedDemon review will not only show you all of it's great features but will give you an idea of what RSS can do. As you surf around the web, you'll notice more sites with those little red RSS and XML boxes posted which indicates they have an RSS feed. It also proves that RSS is here to stay and is growing; don't get left behind. Why stop at reading RSS feeds when you can make your own? Three different versions of Broadcast Builder means there's a program to fit your needs and budget. Corporate users will find a total RSS solution while novices will find that even their home page can have an RSS feed. All three versions have been reviewed. The reviews also have lots of general RSS information since many users are unfamiliar with it. As a result, novices as well as those experienced with RSS will find these reviews worth looking at. As always, we look forward to hearing your comments. New Reviews The following reviews were added: FeedDemon Broadcast Builder Standard Broadcast Builder Pro Broadcast Builder Enterprise - The Genie - February 14, 2005 No, Assembly Language is not REALLY as bad as sticking pins in your eyes, although many people I've known would argue the point. Then again, they didn't have Emu8086. A microprocessor emulator with debugging, assembly/disassembly functions, and full tutorials, Emu8086 will take ALL of the pain out of learning assembly code. Make your web site memorable with Just Buttons Pro. Create "glass" or "plastic" buttons that are both static and animated. Turn normal graphics into buttons, add mouseover/down functions and much more. You see it everywhere; those little red boxes with RSS and XML written on them. They're even on this website. It's RSS newsfeeds and is the best way on the web to keep your audience up to date. Thanks to Broadcast Builder, you don't have to be an XML guru to make RSS newsfeeds. Three different versions means there's a program to fit your needs and budget. Watch for some RSS reviews and the shareware genie's completed RSS feed later this week. New Programs The following programs were added: Emu8086 Just Buttons Pro Broadcast Builder Standard Broadcast Builder Pro Broadcast Builder Enterprise - The Genie - November 21, 2004 You'll notice a new green button on some of the program pages that will be posted shortly. If you're going to register a program and it has a green button on the page, please support The Shareware Genie by clicking the green button and use the registration page it takes you to. To see an example, check out the QwikSecure page. The QwikSecure page on this site has been posted for awhile but the download wasn't operational. That has been fixed. QwikSecure offers a unique solution to keeping private files undetected on a PC with multiple users. The program allows you to disguise any file as a recycle bin, HTML page, printer page, control panel, or my network places. Try QwikSecure and never worry about keeping private files from prying eyes. The spread of viruses and spyware on the internet make a personal firewall on your PC a necessity. Even a NAT firewall in your router and the SP2 firewall doesn't remove the threat. The Armor2Net review not only tells you about a great firewall program but also has lots of general information and links to firewall test sites. Take a look at this review even if you have a personal firewall; you may not have all the protection you need. For various reasons, the following programs will no longer be offered and will be removed: JavaScript Editor Standard - The publisher now only offers one version of this program. The JavaScript Editor found on this site from now on is the pro version. NitroBOOT Startup Guru will take its place. SpyCop The publisher no longer offers it to affiliates. Mailbox Monitor The publisher's web site has vanished and is assumed to be out of business New Programs The following program was added: QwikSecure The following review was added: Armor2Net - The Genie - November 01, 2004 The Shareware Genie will now be offering the reviews in DNL format as well as on the regular web page. DNL format is a web book created by Desktop Author and offers a superior method of viewing digital data. Dynamic links to websites, pop up graphics, an index that links to specific pages and turning pages create a document that has easier access to data as well as a huge visual impact. The first review done in this format is for Web Vacuum. Go to the DNL page to get the free reader and other information. This format must be seen to be appreciated. To learn more about making web books in this format, check out the Desktop Autor Review. Ghostsurf is the best program available for internet security and it just got better. Ghostsurf Pro has been replace by Ghostsurf 2005 Platinum and Ghostsurf 2005 Standard. Ghostsurf Platinum has improved versions of all the Ghostsurf Pro features such as improved spyware removal and ad blocking. Ghostsurf Standard is available for a lower registration price for those who just want the anonymous surfing and trace removal features. The changes in Ghostsurf are so great that the review no longer describes the program accurately. It will be upgraded shortly. You just paid a bundle for a DVD and one of your kids dropped it and stepped on it. No cause for alarm if you have a DVD burner and DVD Clone Studio. This easy to use program gives you perfect backup copies of your DVD movies every time. If you've never heard of regular expressions, they allow you to create compact but very powerful patterns to check incoming data, test text formatting, do large scale search and replace functions and more. Those of you who may have an exposure to regular expressions know that, well, they're not really very regular. After all, if you want to make sure that telephone data is input in this format, (123) 456-7890, you'd use a regular expression like this /^\(\d(3)\)\s\d(3)-\d(4)$/. Not very intuitive. Help has arrived in the form of RegexBuddy. You can create and test your own regular expressions, evaluate ones found in other people's code and more. If you know nothing about regular expressions, the complete tutorial will have you on your way quickly. Experience users and novices alike will speed up their projects and eliminate coding errors with RegexBuddy. New Programs The following programs were added: DVD Clone Studio RegexBuddy GhostSurf Platinum GhostSurf Standard - The Genie - October 22, 2004 There's been quite a bit of behind the scenes activity since the last update. The details would bore you; the results won't. Check back regularly during the next few weeks to see some exciting new programs. Two new versions of GhostSurf will be available shortly. The current version posted is no longer supported and shouldn't be downloaded. The review will be updated as soon as possible. One new program and one new review have been posted. As you read this, there are more processes and DLLs running on your PC than you want to think about. There was a time you could ignore this but spyware put an end to that. Now DLLs and processes running spyware slow your system to a crawl and make it worthless. The problem is, which process do you need and which should you delete. Clicking CTRL-ALT-DEL will bring up a window to show you what's running in the background. The problem is that the large number of processes, all with non intuitive names, leave you scratching your head and wondering "What IS all this junk running on my PC?". Thanks to WinTasks 5 Pro, that's no longer a problem. With a built in library of information as well as great control features, users get both the knowledge and ability to take complete control over their PC. Try the evaluation version of WinTasks 5 Pro and see for yourself. The term "powerful" has been used to describe many full featured software packages. The problem is that when a user says the program is "very powerful" you get the feeling they really mean "I don't know how to use it". There's no doubt that Microangelo is a "powerful" program in regards to having a vast array of features and that users can be overwhelmed by it. Our review will help you get started with examples of how to use the many features of Microangelo. Take a look at the Microangelo review page, download the program and try it for yourself. New Programs The following program was added: WinTasks 5 Pro The following review was added: Microangelo - The Genie - September 14, 2004 Four new programs have been added. Red Eye Remover is for those who don't want to bother with a complicated paint program but still want to rid their pictures of glowing red eyes. Even if you have a paint program, you may find Red Eye Remover easier to use and more effective. You've just taken the perfect picture, you're ready to download it and you find out the flash memory card is bad. Worse yet, you've been a clumsy oaf and deleted it! No need to worry with Flash Retriever. This program will restore deleted data and data from defective Flash Memory Cards. Data loss is never convenient and there's a million ways it can happen. System crashes, HDD failures, viruses, or you accidentally deleted the wrong thing. SOS Crash Recovery keeps a backup of your HDD image and lets you restore the entire hard drive when catastrophic data loss occurs. Tired of having your JavaScipt code lifted from your web site? JavaScript Mutator optimizes and protects your JavaScript code by automatically changing variable names, removing comments and much more. Make it hard for code thieves with JavaScript Mutator. More programs and reviews should be up shortly so check back often. New Programs The following programs were added: Red Eye Remover Flash Retriever SOS Crash Recovery JavaScript Mutator - The Genie - September 8, 2004 Well, August is gone and hopefully it took the server crashes, missing graphics, database crashes and other problems with it. The new menus are up and the group pages similar to the digital picture page will be posted on an ongoing basis. One program and one review have been added. Desktop Author is one of those programs that could change the way information is viewed. You can create web books with turning pages and hot links to web sites, email, and other pages using a WYSIWYG interface. You can also create ecards, brochures, digital diaries, photo albums, and more. Desktop Author allows you to add visual impact to any of your digital information, making it more effective and certainly more memorable. Check out Desktop Author and see for yourself. The new review is for Say The Time. If you're tired of missing appointments, check out how Say The Time can help. New Programs The following programs were added: Desktop Author The following reviews have been added: Say The Time - The Genie - August 14, 2004 Some of the changes mentioned in July have been completed and some still have to be done. The new menu should be up within the next two weeks and all of the "available soon" pages should vanish around the same time. The new review page is up as well as the bottom menus on most of the pages. All of the review pages will change to php pages from HTML. Please change any bookmarks you may have made. All this is nice but I'm sure you'd rather hear about new programs. Four new programs have been posted which are: Betty's Beer Bar - The first game posted here. This mildly addictive game has you trying to serve as much beer as you can while giving coffee to drunks. Get better tips for using clean glasses. This isn't going to compete with the popular PS2 games in gameplay or complexity but you'll find it easy to learn and enjoyable to play. Download it and see for yourself. Caller IP - Sort of like caller ID for the internet. This identifies unauthorized connections to your PC and gives you contact information so you can report abuse to their ISP. Track these jerks down and get them kicked off the net with Caller IP. CD/DVD Diagnostic - Have a CD or DVD that doesn't like to be read anymore? How about one you wrote with one writer that other drives don't like? CD/DVD Diagnostic will get all of your data from bad CDs or DVDs. Microangelo - Everything you ever needed to make static icons, moving icons, animated cursors and more. Include five different tools and is the ultimate icon tool. New Programs The following programs were added: Betty's Beer Bar Caller IP CD/DVD Diagnostic Microangelo - The Genie - August 13, 2004 We lost the mysql server for awhile today which prevented many of the pages from working and killing most of the downloads; it must have been some Friday the 13th bad luck. Everything is working now. If you got an error message while trying to download, please try again. Sorry for any inconvenience. - The Genie - July 27, 2004 A few behind the scenes events caused the long delay between updates but hopefully you'll find the wait worthwhile. A few things to look for: Navigational Aids - The growth of the Shareware Genie has caused navigation to suffer so look for more menus and more pages like the Digital Picture Page. We hope this will make things easier to find. Forum - Look for more information to be posted on the Forum. New Programs - There will be a LOT more programs added in the next month. Four more new programs have been added today. Visual Route is a traceroute utility that identifies where slowdowns in internet traffic is as well as giving you the geographic location of IP addresses. If you have an internet slowdown, this will pinpoint the problem and determine if it is due to your ISP, the Internet, or the host you are trying to reach. EMail Tracker Pro will tell you the location and IP address of incoming e-mails. It can also be used with Visual Route to give more information and help you report spammers. Speaking of nuisance controls - CallZap uses your PC modem and your Caller ID service to monitor and block unwanted phone calls. Just think, no more vinyl siding salesmen calling you in the middle of dinner! Additional features give you complete control over which calls get through and which get dumped. The last of today's additions is Startup Guru which helps your PC boot faster and controls spyware by managing which programs start when your PC boots up. New Programs The following programs were added: Visual Route EMail Tracker Pro CallZap Startup Guru - The Genie - June 10, 2004 Two video edit programs have been added. For the user who wants all of the features they can get, check out Video Edit Magic. If you're the average user who won't use many of the advanced features, try the express version of this program called Video Edit Express. Find these programs and other digital media related programs on the Digital Picture Page. New versions of Animator Pro and WebVacuum have been posted. Download them and check out the new features. New Programs The following programs were added: Video Edit Magic Video Edit Express - The Genie - June 7, 2004 No new reviews, but there are three more new programs. SQLXP is an easy way to access and work with relational databases. Many of the reviews are in progress so look for a lot more to be posted within the next couple of weeks. If you find any part of the reviews to be confusing, please let me know and I'll try to correct the problem. Any general questions can also be posted on the forum. You don't need to register or have an e-mail address to post and unlike other forums, your IP address isn't displayed with your post. New Programs The following programs were added: Color Wheel Expert Auto Synchronizer Easy Screen Capture - The Genie - May 22, 2004 Digital pictures are so easy to store and so hard to share. The Shareware Genie has a number of solutions to sharing digital pictures: - Super Compressor will shrink the size for easy storage or transfer - htAlbum can create a quality web site of your favorite images with little knowlege of the web - Image Master 2000 can make a variety of slide shows that are easily shared. Now there's a new way to share your digital images with everyone or only a selected few without ever moving them from your hard drive. PiXPO organizes your pictures in albums and allows you to share these over a peer to peer network. Unlike some of the popular p2p programs, PiXPO allows you to share with everyone or only certain users. It also only allows you to download pictures so you don't have to worry about all the extra nasty junk that you usually get with p2p networks. Download the evaluation copy and see for yourself. More reviews and programs are pending so be sure to check back soon. New Programs The following programs were added: Quick Hide Auto FTP Manager - The Genie - May 7, 2004 I've heard concerns raised from picture downloaders about web pages filled with trojans and spyware. The Shareware Genie is happy to offer Armor2Net; a firewall/pop up blocker/spyware remover. Download and try it to see if it solves your internet security issues. I've added this program to the Digital Picture Page as well. PC security is always an issue. Now you can check on unauthorized users who get on your PC when you're away. TypeRecorder will keep a record of every keystroke made on your PC, what user made them, and what application they used. Everyone wants their PC to run at peak performance. New Programs The following programs were added: Armor2Net TypeRecorder System Optimizer - The Genie - May 4, 2004 Two more reviews for web page builders or those who want to see Microsoft Agent Characters. If you've ever put your e-mail address on your personal web site, you know it's only a matter of time before the SpamBots get to it. Check out the SpamBot Protector review and find out how easy it is to post your e-mail while protecting it. You may have seen Microsoft Agent characters before; if not, check out the WebSpeak review page. Now you can have moving and talking characters on your website. Some great new programs will be added this week so be sure to check back. New Reviews The following reviews were added: WebSpeak SpamBot Protector - The Genie - April 27, 2004 The Shareware Genie is glad to be able to offer NewsBin; an easy to use but powerful Usenet downloader. Many people don't realize that they have free access to Usenet but the fact is that if you're reading this, you probably DO have free access. If you've never used Usenet, NewsBin is a great introduction. If you're a newsgroup junkie, you'll wonder how you ever lived without this program. NewsBin has been added to the Digital Picture Program page. If you use digital images, you'll find something of use there. There's quite a few thing in progress now so look for more reviews and programs to be posted between now and the first week of May. Issues 1) There are two dead links on the ImageMaster 2000 review page. The reviews they reference were almost complete but were delayed for other projects. The reviews will be posted shortly. 2) I don't require anyone to log in or provide an e-mail address for the forum so feel free to post. 3) I don't sell or give away e-mail addresses so don't think signing up for The Shareware Genie newsletter is an invitation to spam. It's only used for our newsletter. New Reviews The following reviews were added: NewsBin New Programs The following reviews were added: NewsBin - The Genie - April 12, 2004 As promised, but a week late, two more reviews for you to look at. Both htAlbum and Image Master 2000 deal with digital images and are very easy to use. If you're reading this from your home PC, you can put a web page up; check out the htAlbum review to find out how. Image Master 2000 allows you to view and share your digital images by creating slideshows. Simple to use, many features and a low registration cost make Image Master 2000 a great program to have. A couple of really unique programs will be added soon. The first will be similar to Web Vacuum but for UseNet. The second is a .NET WinForms HTML WYSIWYG editor. Check back early next week and they should be posted along with some others. Continued interest in programs related to digital images has prompted the creation of a special Digital Picture Program page. If you use digital images, you'll find something of use there. New Reviews The following reviews were added: htAlbum Image Master 2000 - The Genie - March 28, 2004 There's no doubt that e-mail has become a vital part of business. Not only is it convenient to use but it's also an easy way to keep records. No more file cabinets full of paper to deal with, just a few clicks and you have the information you need. That is until your hard disk drive crashes. Fortunately, a solution exists in the form of Outback Plus and Express Assist that make backing up ALL aspects of your Outlook or Outlook Express files easy. If you need more data backed up, check out Eazy Backup. Two more voice related programs have also been added. Speak Mail 2000 alerts you to new e-mail messages by having a talking character read the message header. The talking character can also read all sorts of documents to you as well as tell jokes, sing and obey voice commands. Speak is essentially the same program without the e-mail applications. Look for more reviews next week. New Programs The following programs were added: OE Quick Tools Outback Plus Speak Mail 2000 Speak Eazy Backup Express Assist - The Genie - March 27, 2004 The addition yesterday of the RSS reader, Feed Demon, will certainly help those who download it to gather more information. Today we're adding two programs that gather more traditional media in the form of internet TV and internet Radio. Check out CTube and LiveWire below. The addition of spoken words to many application would be a big improvement but, in many cases it is largely ignored. Presently, we offer a Voxx, a voice recognition program and plan to add more voice related programs in the future. For today, we are adding Web Speak, which will help you create talking web pages and IM Speak which will turn your text instant messages into spoken ones. Try them out below. I haven't forgotten the Outlook/Outlook Express add ons and will try to add them by the middle of next week. New Programs The following programs were added: Web Speak IM Speak CTube LiveWire - The Genie - March 26, 2004 The Shareware Genie is glad to offer Feed Demon; a full function RSS reader. If you've never heard of RSS, you will. It's the new way to get information from the internet with more sites offering RSS feeds daily. Download Feed Demon and see what you're missing. While Feed Demon deals with a new technology, we've found programs to deal with old curses too; accidentally deleted data. Three new programs have been added to join Photo Recovery in helping to get data back that's been deleted. Each of these programs offers a solution to specific problems and are NOT merely different applications that do the same thing. If you've lost data, give them a try. Issues If you've downloaded the JavaScript Editor Standard or Pro edition before March 13th, you may want to redownload the new build. There was a problem where some of the features weren't active in the old build but it's been corrected. New Programs The following programs were added: Feed Demon Doc Regenerator HDD Regenerator Recover Drive Data - The Genie - Mar. 10, 2004 Check back soon since I plan on adding about five programs in the next week including an RSS reader, web utilities and perhaps some Outlook/Outlook Express add ons. Let me know if your looking for a certain type of program and I'll see if I can find one that suits your needs. A review on the new version of the php Editor has been posted along with a reveiw of a very useful (and inexpensive) utility, Pick N Capture. A web page creator for image pages has been added. New Programs The following programs were added: htAlbum New Reviews The following reviews were added: php Editor Pick N Capture - The Genie - Mar. 04, 2004 As promised, a few new e-mail utilities have been added in the Home/Office section. A new version of php editor has been released and posted. If you have the older version, be sure to download version 2 now and check out the improvements. The Forum has been modified to match the rest of the Shareware Genie pages. The test forum will be taken down and the forums for each category will be up within a week. Navigation buttons back to the main Shareware Genie site may be added as well. New Programs The following programs were added: Lydia Email Mailbox Monitor Redirector - The Genie - Mar. 01, 2004 The Forum is up! I will be customizing the look and adding more categories in the next week or two. Right now, there is only a test page but feel free to post your thoughts, questions or complaints. - The Genie - Feb. 22, 2004 The Shareware Genie has been fortunate to be able to add a great set of web site building tools at a great registration price. The Creative Suite Subscription offers 3 editors (php, JavaScript, C#) a visual HTML editor, 2 graphics packages and a year of free upgrades for only $120.00. If you don't want the upgrades, you can get the same package for only $100.00 through the CreativeSuite package instead. As always, download the programs first to see if they suit your needs. If or when you want to register, go to the CreativeSuite or Creative Suite Subscription page and register using the registration button. New Programs The following programs were added: 3D Browser Pro Cleaning Agent - The Genie - Feb. 20, 2004 A new page has been posted for adding your e-mail address to The Shareware Genie monthly newsletter. The link to the Mailing List signup page will be in one of the right boxes (usually the second down) and will be marked "Mailing List". Look for the Creative Suite page to be posted tomorrow. - The Genie - Feb. 19, 2004 It seems like there's a new e-mail virus loose every day. To help combat this, a few e-mail utility programs will be added in the home/office section next week. You may also want to check the Security Page a try out some of the programs there. Issues The Creative Suite page isn't up yet so there's a few dead links leading to it on a few of the Internet Tools page. This page will be posted tomorrow. New Programs The following programs were added: C# Editor Code Chameleon Draw Magic Look for the e-mail utilities and a few more graphics programs next week. - The Genie - Feb. 18, 2004 As with most of my New Year's resolutions, the one to get this page posted by the first week of January was well intentioned but a bit late. Issues Poor placement of the newsletter signup box (home page lower left) has resulted in very few new signups despite the large number of recent visits. Look for a smaller box on the right of most pages that will link to a new sign up page. The forum has been delayed but not forgotten. E-mail me if you have questions or comments and I'll pass them along on this page for the time being. I'd like the forum to be up and running by mid March. There will be a special offer for a package of webtools called Creative Suite. You may want to hold off registering the JavaScript Editor, php Editor, Web Effects, or Animator until this offer appears by next week. New Programs The following programs were added: Kabcam JavaScript Editor Pro Animator Animator Pro Look for some more to be posted tomorrow. - The Genie -
