RSS Feed Is Back Up & How To Use It

The RSS feed is back up.

It's easy to use RSS. If you use Opera or Firefox, you'll notice an icon on the address bar that looks like this:

Just click on the symbol and it will ask if you want to subscribe to the feed.

Opera has its own RSS reader while Firefox gives you a choice of four web based RSS readers to use. These readers can be used with Internet Explorer as well. They are:

Live Bookmarks
Yahoo
Bloglines
Google RSS Reader

Click yes and the Shareware Genie feed will then be added to any other ones you have. Your browser automatically finds updates to the feed.

Give it a try. If you don't like it, he feed is easy to remove.

Sorry -- No Adult Pictures

The spammers caused quite a bit of traffic to come to this site based on their "Naughty Schoolgirl" type ads.

Sorry to disappoint anyone but there's no adult pictures or movies on this site.

Smut mongers take heart - we still have something for you here!

A combination of Ghost Surf, Web Vacuum, Kitty Xplorer, and Photos Forever will let you surf anonymously from work, automatically download your pictures, encrypt them on your PC so no one finds them, and automatically back them up on CDs or DVDs.

We have lots of digital picture related programs so take a look.

New Posting Rules

I don't like forums that beat you over the head with posting rules so I'll keep this short.

1) You have to register to post - this keeps spammers out.

2) Keep the post relevant to the forum. If you start posting nonsense that's unrelated to the forum, it will be deleted. By the way, adult sites, online gambling, "Pharmaceutical" products to make you a bigger/better lover, and check cashing schemes from Africa are a few examples of subjects NOT considered relevant.

3) If you have to advertise - place it in the "The Other Guy's Stuff" forum and keep it technology related. I'll allow it so long as it doesn't get excessive and doesn't directly compete with the products on this site. What would be nice is to get a link to this site posted on sites that advertise here but I'm not going to chase anyone for it.

4) My crystal ball isn't working so other things may come up to cause ammendments to the rules.

Thanks and enjoy the forum.

New Forum Requirements

Spammers dumped over 20,000 messages on this forum and were trying all sorts of nasty exploits as well. It was so bad that they were posting ads on how to hire them to spam other forums with your messages!

The forum is back up with a few added precautions to make spamming more difficult. Unfortunately, part of that means you now have to register in order to post on the board. Your email will not be given away or sold to anyone but is just used to verify that an actual person wants to register a handle.

More stuff will be up shortly.
